AI Infrastructure Verifiable Memory Audit-Grade

If you can't replay what an AI did,
you can't audit it.

AI systems have no verifiable memory. Prompts disappear. Context windows rotate out. Decisions are made and forgotten in milliseconds. When a regulator, auditor, or litigator asks "what did your AI do on March 15?" most organizations cannot answer. Cachee changes that. Every AI operation is cached with cryptographic proof, hash-chained into a tamper-evident trail, and independently verifiable without Cachee, without the network, without trust.

The Problem

AI systems operate with amnesia

Every other critical system in your organization has an audit trail. Your AI does not. Here is what disappears every time a context window rotates.

🚫

Prompts Vanish

The exact instructions that shaped an AI decision are discarded after the response is generated. You cannot prove what was asked, how it was asked, or what context was provided.

🔄

Context Windows Rotate

LLMs have finite context. As conversations grow, earlier context is dropped silently. The AI is literally operating on a different understanding than what the user intended, with no record of the shift.

Decisions Are Ephemeral

An AI agent makes a routing decision, a classification, a recommendation. Seconds later, the only evidence it happened is a log line that says "200 OK." The reasoning, the inputs, the alternatives considered — all gone.

🔒

Model Weights Change

The model that made a decision last Tuesday may not exist anymore. Fine-tuning, RLHF updates, and version rotations mean the same prompt produces different outputs. Without memory, you cannot even detect drift.

📄

Logs Are Not Proof

Application logs record that something happened. They do not prove what happened. Logs can be edited, truncated, rotated, or lost. They are not hash-chained. They are not independently verifiable. They are not evidence.

Regulators Are Coming

EU AI Act, FFIEC examination guidance, HIPAA audit requirements, SEC model risk management — all require demonstrable auditability of AI decisions. "We didn't keep records" is becoming a compliance violation.

Cachee's Approach

Every AI operation. Cached. Proven. Verifiable.

Cachee treats AI computations the same way it treats any expensive operation: cache the result, bind it to a cryptographic proof, chain it into a tamper-evident history, and make it independently verifiable forever.

Capture

Complete Execution Context

Every AI operation stores the full computation context: input data hash, prompt or instruction hash, model identifier and version, hyperparameters, output, timestamp, and authority chain. Not a log line. The complete context needed to verify the decision.

Bind

Cryptographic Proof

Each cached operation is bound to a SHA3-256 hash of its contents. The hash covers inputs, outputs, and metadata. Any modification — even a single bit — produces a completely different hash. The proof is the data.

Chain

Hash-Chained History

Each operation's hash includes the previous operation's hash, forming a tamper-evident chain. Altering any historical entry breaks every subsequent hash. You cannot rewrite history without detection. The chain is the audit trail.

Verify

Independent Verification

Verification requires only the data and standard hash functions. No Cachee account. No network connection. No trust in any third party. Anyone with the chain can verify its integrity using commodity tools. The proof stands alone.

Optional H33-74 attestation adds post-quantum signatures to the chain — three independent cryptographic families in 74 bytes. This means the audit trail remains verifiable even against quantum adversaries. But even without H33-74, the hash chain alone provides tamper evidence that exceeds any traditional logging system.

Five Pillars

Verifiable AI Memory Infrastructure

Cachee's verifiable AI memory is built on five pillars. Each addresses a specific failure mode in current AI infrastructure. Together, they provide the complete audit-grade memory layer that AI systems are missing.
